Professionals supporting students who need additional practice with student success skills in small groups or one-on-one settings.
Description
The Social-Emotional Learning Lab Program allows students to earn specialty certificates. This program will deepen your understanding of Social-Emotional Learning, pedagogy and practice by learning how to teach your students specific SEL skills in a one-on-one setting.
Those who would be taking the following courses/programs as a stand alone will receive a program certificate for the specific program. Book purchase required for this program: Purchase Required Reading Here!

Tier 2 Coach Support Lab (501) |
The first course is a 10 week course that will take participants of this course through the start-up and facilitation of initiating and implementing your SEL Lab. This course has been constructed to take a minimum of 10 hours to complete, yielding 1 professional development credit or continuing education unit (2 CEU). |

Tier 2 Coach Support Lab Practicum (502) |
This course is a 8 week course that will allow participants to start up their lab and begin working with students under the mentorship of our trained and experienced SEL Lab instructors (1 CEU). Participants must successfully complete SEL Lab 1 before they can register for SEL Lab 2. |

Eligibility
To enroll, participants must:
- Hold a bachelor’s or associate degree (or higher), OR be a college student with 60+ credits completed
- Work directly with students (in schools, after-school, or higher education settings)
- Complete courses sequentially (301 → 302 or 501 → 502)
- For the Practicum (302 & 502): be employed in a setting where weekly lessons can be implemented and submit a support letter from a supervisor or administrator
Program Format

- Flexible module completion due dates + live discussions
- Sequential course structure (Instruction → Practicum)
- Passing requires 85% or higher on assignments and active participation
- Earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for each course
- Receive the Focused Program Certificate upon completion
