Directions

 

By NJ Transit Bus: NJ Transit does not stop on Livingston Campus. To get here, you must get off on College Avenue and walk to Scott Hall bus stop. From here, you need to get on a LX Rutgers bus; this will take you directly to Livingston Campus.

From Somerset Street at George Street: Turn left to go down Somerset St. until you reach College Ave. (in front of Barnes and Noble). Turn right onto College Ave. and walk down until you reach the intersection of College Ave. and Hamilton St. Continue down College Ave. The Scott Hall bus stop is under the red bus shelter in front of the large residential building. It should take about five minutes to get to the bus stop from your starting point.

From George Street at Albany Street: Proceed down George St. until you reach Hamilton St (at the corner of the Zimmerli Art Museum). Walk down Hamilton St. until you reach the intersection of Hamilton St. and College Ave. Turn right onto College Ave. The Scott Hall bus stop is under a red bus shelter. It should take about eight minutes to get to the bus stop from your starting point.

From George Street at Paterson Street: Proceed down George St. toward Church St. until you reach Hamilton St (at the corner of the Zimmerli Art Museum). Walk down Hamilton St. until you reach the intersection of Hamilton St. and College Ave. Turn right onto College Ave. The Scott Hall bus stop is under a red bus stop. It should take about ten minutes to get to the bus stop from your starting point.

From Raritan Avenue at Adelaide Avenue: Proceed down Raritan Ave. towards New Brunswick. Stay on the right side of the bridge and down Albany St. until you reach George St (the front of the large grey office building). Turn right onto George St. and walk down until you reach Hamilton St (at the corner of the Zimmerli Art Museum). Turn left onto Hamilton St. and walk until you reach the intersection of Hamilton St. and College Ave. Turn right onto College Ave. The Scott Hall bus stop is under the red bus shelter in front of the large residential building. It should take about nineteen minutes to get to the bus stop from your starting point.

 

By Rutgers Bus:

The LX is the most direct route from College Avenue to Livingston Campus. Once on the LX, ride until you reach the Livingston Student Center stop. You can cut through the Student Center or go around it and go left towards the Lynton Towers (tall pair of brown buildings). Continue past the Towers to the tan building on your right. This is Tillett Hall.

 

By Train:

Take the train to the New Brunswick Station stop. Exit via Wall Street and walk down Easton Avenue. When you reach the intersection of Somerset Street and Easton Avenue, turn right down Somerset Street and continue until you reach College Avenue (in from of Barnes and Noble). Continue down College Avenue and down past the intersection of Hamilton Street and College Avenue. The Scott Hall bus stop is under the red bus shelter in front of the large residential building.

 

By Car:

Route 18 South: Take Route 18 and exit at the Livingston Campus/Davidson Road/Rutgers RAC exit. Turn left at the traffic light onto Davidson Road, which merges into Avenue East at the next traffic light. Continue down Avenue East through the traffic circle and continue straight. Lot 101 and 102 are about midway down Avenue East on your left.

Route 18 North: Take Route 18 and exit at the Livingston Campus/Metlars Lane/Rutgers RAC exit. Stay in the right lane to turn right onto Avenue East. Continue down Avenue East through the traffic circle and continue straight. Lot 101 and 102 are about midway down Avenue East on your left.

 

Parking (For participants only!)

When you arrive, you can park in Lot 102, which is directly behind Tillett Hall. We have 4 reserved spots for participants labelled “Psychology Lab”. If you are parking in 102, you may only park in those spots; the rest are for faculty/staff, and you will be ticketed if you park elsewhere. If those spots are full, you may park in the front of Lot 101, which is the bigger lot behind Tillett Hall, in the Visitor's section, which is the row closest to Tillett Hall and the library.
