How do I pay for a course?

Business Group

  • Credit card or

  • Purchase Order (PO).

PURCHASE ORDER PAYMENTS:

Please be Advised: Our Purchase Order Process Is As Follows!

If you are paying with a purchase order(s), you may no longer register prior to the following process being followed.   

  1. Email Purchase Order with an initial e-mail to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for processing.

  2. An Invoice will be emailed for payment to be paid within 30 days

  3. Payment will then be mailed to the address noted on the Invoice

  4. Once payment has been received you will receive notification from our scheduling office to facilitate registration. 

You will be unable to register for an upcoming course prior to a purchase order received, invoice generated/sent out and payment received.  Please keep this in mind when deciding on a start date;  Plan Ahead!

  • Course and section payment is for

REGISTRATION PROCESS

 

How do I register for a course in the General Track Program?

Courses 101 and 102

  • Confirm that you are qualified for the single course or General Track Program by checking out the eligibility requirements.

  • Locate and click on the course/section you wish to register for below.

  • Follow the prompts to create an account and register. You can pay using a credit card or purchase order.  If you are paying by purchase order you must include the purchase order number when prompted.

  • If you are wait-listed, look through the course offerings on the registration page for the next available open section.  Our courses have a maximum cap, so register early!

Courses 103 and 003

  • 003 - Submit copies of courses 101 and 102 certificates of completion, detailed action plan as described in course and a signed letter on letterhead from your school principal, director or supervisor acknowledging you would be participating in the practicum and will support you as you deliver your action plan directly to students. Send your signed letter in PDF format to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

  • Once you receive confirmation and notification of acceptance via email, you are then able to register for the course. Otherwise, you may be deregistered.

  • 103 - Your detailed actioin plan will be shared by your 102 course instructor.  Please send your signed letter on letterhead from your school principal, director or supervisor acknowledging you will be participating in the practicum and will support you as you deliver your action plan directly to students.   • Once you have successfully completed 102 your course you will be able to register for 103.

How do I register for a course in the Accelerated (Advanced)Track Program?

Courses 401 and 402

  • There is an application process for 401!  And a prerequisite requirement for 402.
  • Confirm that you are qualified for the Accelerated Track Program by checking out the eligibility requirements.

  • Submit a signed letter on letterhead from a school principal, director or supervisor acknowledging and verifying your 5+ years SECD direct instruction experience directly to students and that you are applying to take the courses. Send your signed letter in PDF format to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

  • Submit your resume/CV showing your year to year SECD teaching experience directly to students.  Please do identify the SEL or character education program you have taught and/or specific skills/virtues.  Send your resumen/CV to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.  We need to be able to see and review each year you taught SECD directly to students and what program and/or skills and traits you taught to them.

  • Once we are in receipt of your documents you will receive an email confirming our receipt and the review process will begin. If during this process we have any questions, we will send you an email.

  • If you do not meet the eligibility requirements, it will be recommended that you register for the General Track Program.
  • Notification of acceptance to the Accelerated Program via email you will receive an approval code to register for the course. Otherwise, you may be deregistered.

  • Locate and click on the course/section you wish to register for below.

  • Follow the prompts to create an account and register using the approval code given to you. You can pay using a credit card or purchase order (please go to the top of this page for instructions to submit a purchase Order)

  • If you are wait-listed, look through the course offerings on the registration page for the next available open section.  Our courses have a maximum cap, so register early!  Should you have any questions send an email to This email address is being protected from spambots.   • Note: A minimum of five to seven students are required for a 401 or 402 course to run. Therefore, the start date may be subject to change until the minimum number of students is reached.

FYI - Once you have registered for your course/section you will receive login information from the Rutgers helpdesk.  Please check spam/junk folders if you do not receive the email in your inbox.  You will be able to access your course/section on the start date.
