Melanie Maimon receives the 2022 SPSP Heritage Dissertation Research Award


Doctoral student Melanie Maimon was recently awarded the Heritage Dissertation Research Award from the Society for Personality and Social Psychology (SPSP) to fund her dissertation research, “Social judgment reluctance: Individual differences in impression formation motivations and behaviors.” The Heritage Dissertation Research Award provides funding to support the costs of conducting dissertation research in social and personality psychology. Funds for the Heritage Dissertation Research Awards are raised as part of the Heritage Initiative, which honors teachers and scholars who have made substantial contributions to the field. Awardees will be honored at the SPSP annual convention in 2023.
