wang announcement

A study published in the latest issue in the journal Child Development by Jenny Wang, Assistant Professor in Psychology, showed that preschool children perform better on a math task after playing a scaffolded computer game that exercises their “number sense” – the ability to approximate quantities without counting. This effect of number sense exercise on children’s math performance even holds after a 30 minute break. Find out more about our research here: https://sites.sas.rutgers.edu/cognition/
