CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR RETIREMENT, BONITA!
After nearly three decades of service at Rutgers University and over twenty years in the Psychology Department, we are happy to say congratulations to Bonita Holt-Griffith on her well-deserved retirement.
As the undergraduate student advisor, you have been the face of the department to thousands of students each year. You have touched a multitude of our students in so many positive ways. For many undergraduate students, you have been a guiding light to graduation. Your love and dedication to the students has been inspiring. You have helped with hundreds of major and minor declarations each year, and have spent countless hours addressing student career concerns and courses needed for graduation. Throughout the years, your advising method has shown professionalism, respect, compassion, and understanding of students' needs.
The Psychology Department is losing a jewel; it has been a pleasure to work with you. We will miss your pleasant disposition and your infectious laugh. So, while we are saddened to see you go, we are confident that you will find the same success and happiness in retirement that you experienced during your time here at Rutgers. We wish you the best in your future endeavors. Retirement will surely offer you many new opportunities, which we know you will embrace wholeheartedly, just as you did at Rutgers University.
Please keep in touch and visit us often. We hope you have a fun and fruitful retirement!
