Advising

We offer several different levels of advising for our students:

Prof. Leonard Hamilton, Director of Advising, is available through email almost 24/7 and responds to most queries about the major or minor within 24 hours. Occasionally I need to make last-minute changes in my office hours — to be safe, check this site again before making a special trip. Current in-person office hours (Psychology Building Room 211 on Busch Campus) are scheduled as follows:

Prof. Hamilton will not have walk-in office hours until
late August, but will be in regular email communication:

THU 26JUN 10:00am - 1:00pm

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTES:

Prof. Kramer is on sabbatical.

Faculty Advisors for Specialty Areas do not hold summer hours.

Ms. Bonita Griffith, Administrative Assistant to the Director of Advising, is available during regular business hours in Room 207 of the Psychology Building (Busch) on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.  She is available in Tillett Hall 101 (LIV) on Tuesday and Friday. Ms. Griffith is able to handle all routine advising situations such as prerequisite overrides, approval of transfer courses, scheduling difficulties, and so forth. Due to staffing shortages, she shares time between Tillett 101 and Psychology 207. If you are making a special trip, you may wish to call 445-2576 to confirm her location.

We also have a Faculty Advising Committee to provide career and graduate school advice within specialty areas of psychology. For current office hours, see below.
