Tenure-track Faculty Position:

The Department of Psychology in the Rutgers University School of Arts and Sciences (psych.rutgers.edu) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in Health Psychology. Rutgers Health Psychology faculty represent biological, clinical, cognitive, and social approaches to problems of physical health and disease, and have links to several Rutgers groups and laboratories in Medical Sociology, Exercise Science, Food Science, Communication, and the multidisciplinary Institute for Health, Health Care Policy and Aging Research (www.ihhcpar.rutgers.edu). 

The Health Institute, whose new Clinical Research Laboratory will soon be completed, offers appointments to Psychology faculty, and provides access to a network of collaborating institutions including the Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine, the Cancer Institute of New Jersey, the East Orange Veterans Administration, Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and Fox Chase Cancer Center.

The successful candidate must have a PhD, will be expected to develop and maintain active, extramurally-funded research programs, and will participate in undergraduate and graduate teaching.  Salary, start-up funds, and other considerations will be consistent with Rutgers' commitment to recruit and retain exceptional individuals.
